Scholarships for two girls in Ethiopia

Father Endale Haile Fereja lives in our vicarage in Vienna and is writing his doctoral thesis here. Thanks to him, we are in touch with the reality of Ethiopia on a daily basis. The country is torn apart, exploited, at war and impoverished. People are suffering, starving and dying.

Father Endale is a Capuchin friar. Together with him, we thought about what we could do: The best way out of poverty is to educate young people. But that is difficult. The poor can't afford school, not even school supplies.

That is why we have started to pay the school fees and pocket money for two girls to attend nursing school. This training lasts two years and costs a total of 2,200 euros per person. These are the total costs for boarding school, food, school fees, learning materials and travelling expenses.

We are hoping for new supporters so that we can give even more girls a good future.
