Fun with tourists on Zanzibar

Appearance and reality

Zanzibar is very popular with European tourists. At the harbour, they see local youngsters having fun. But why do these boys have so much fun with the tourists? It's quite simple:

They have no schooling and therefore have to earn money with these games. They never had the chance to go to college.

As YCB – Youth Crossing Boundaries Foundation, we want to give them access to education. We pay their school fees and help them to learn. We are convinced that they have more talent than just having fun with tourists on the street. It would be better if they worked as carpenters, hotel managers, or engineers.
