In addition to individual scholarships, lunch was provided for an entire year at a school in Kibiti. At the launch, lunch was served for the first time (previously, there had been no lunch, and the children had to go hungry until evening); then the schoolyard was renovated, trees were planted, and restroom facilities were built.

It looks nice, but it’s child labor instead of school.
Children should be able to grow up carefree.
A Scholarship Recipient’s Words of Thanks
Silvia Christopher Mganga is from a poor neighborhood in Dar es Salaam. Without a scholarship, she would have no way to continue her education and learn a trade. She expresses her gratitude: “You have given me the chance to learn something. A dream has come true.”

We support the poorest people regardless of ethnicity, religion, or nationality. This is intended to foster reconciliation among the various groups.
Traditions of the Maasai
Masai girls are married off at a young age, as early as 12. Many have their first child by the age of 15. We were able to send some of the girls from this group to a boarding college on a scholarship, thereby providing them with an education and vocational training. They are singing their songs for us.
A special tradition among young Maasai men is high jumping. This is how they compete with one another.
These young Maasai in the city are challenging our young guys in Europe to a high jump competition. Who’s up for the challenge?
