Appearance and Reality

Zanzibar is very popular among European tourists. At the harbor, they meet cheerful local teenagers. But: Why do these guys have so much fun with the tourists? It’s simple:

They have no formal education and therefore have to earn money by playing these games. They never had the chance to go to college.

As the “Stiftung Jugend fördern,” we want to help them get an education. We pay their tuition and help them with their studies. We’re convinced that they have more talent than just having fun with tourists on the street. It would be better if they worked as carpenters, hotel managers, or engineers. Please help and support us!
