Fr. Endale Haile Fereja lives in our rectory in Vienna and is working on his doctoral dissertation. Thanks to him, we are connected daily to the reality in Ethiopia. The country is torn apart, exploited, at war, and impoverished. The people are suffering, starving, and dying.

Father Endale is a Capuchin. Together with him, we considered what we could do: The best way out of poverty is to educate young people. But that’s difficult. The poor can’t afford school. Not even school supplies.

That is why we have begun covering the tuition and living expenses for two girls attending nursing school. This program lasts two years and costs a total of 2,200 euros per person. This covers the total costs for boarding, meals, tuition, learning materials, and transportation.

We hope to attract new supporters so that we can help even more girls build a bright future.
